Christian giving and generosity is based, first and foremost, upon our relationship with God, and our understanding of his generosity towards us. Since we are all at different stages on our discipleship journey, each with unique personal and financial circumstances, our giving is also likely to reflect this diversity. However, as disciples, it is important that there are appropriate opportunities and encouragement to reflect upon our attitudes, motivations, and commitment to giving to God and our Church; developing our personal understanding of why and how we give.
